The loch does the decorating
Ceremonies here look out over the water — the light shifts across Loch Leven all day, and whether it's spring sun or proper Highland drama, the room never looks the same twice. It's an easy, welcoming venue too: everything under one roof, guests staying on site, and the West Highlands on the doorstep for the days either side. A handfasting with the mountains behind you is hard to beat here.
Worth every mile
Ballachulish is a couple of hours from Glasgow up the loveliest road in Scotland — past Loch Lomond, over Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe itself.
